旅美華裔書法家袁志鍾先生是一位従事創作與教育的專業書法家。1987年移居美國，創立洛杉磯袁志鍾書法研習社，任社長至今。

袁先生1954年生於上海，自幼拜書畫名家劉海粟、錢茂生為師，東度日本後，又従書道名家青柳志郎，故他的作品既秉承中國傳統書法之精髓，又兼蓄日本書道之特長。
1992年袁志鍾先生以國際傑出藝術家身份定居美國，其作品曾多次展出於美國、中國、日本、加拿大、韓國、臺灣、澳門等地，先後獲得許多大奖，在國際書法界享有盛譽。​

三件書法作品被AMA(美國醫學會)典藏。
